A modern corporate reward system

Golden Motivational Benefit

Reward employees in a way that doesn't have to disappear with the next paycheck. Turn recognition, performance and loyalty into long-term value in the form of investment gold.

Golden Motivational Benefit

Anyone can buy technology. Not the best people.

A company's biggest competitive advantage isn't always the lowest prices or the most advanced technology. It's skilled, reliable and motivated employees.

That's exactly why the Golden Motivational Benefit was created – so a company can reward the people whose performance, responsibility and loyalty create its real value.

Why the Golden Motivational Benefit was created

A one-off cash bonus often quickly blends into everyday expenses. The gold benefit brings a different idea: the employee receives a reward that turns into an asset and can gradually become part of their personal reserve.

  • Higher motivation – the reward can be linked to performance, attendance, quality or goal achievement
  • Stronger loyalty – building value over the long term supports stability and the employee's bond with the company
  • An exceptional benefit – the company stands out from the competition and strengthens its appeal in the job market
  • Custom rules – the employer alone sets the amount, frequency and conditions of the benefit

A contribution that can be credited directly in grams of gold

There is also a practical way to provide the Golden Motivational Benefit contribution in a non-cash form. Instead of a standard cash reward, the employee receives a precisely defined amount of gold directly.

If the company has an iiplan MAX® account set up, it can credit grams of gold to employees instantly online. The company decides for itself who receives the benefit, when, and in what amount.

0.000001 g

This level of precision allows the benefit to be set flexibly, even for small regular contributions, performance rewards or one-off recognition.

The tax, accounting and labour-law assessment of a specific setup should be adapted to current legislation and the company's internal rules.

How the benefit works in practice

The entire process runs online – from setting the conditions, through evaluation, to crediting gold directly to the employee's account.

  • 1. Setup – the company defines the conditions, target groups and the amount of the benefit
  • 2. Evaluation – the employee meets the set criteria or achieves a goal
  • 3. Online crediting – the exact amount of gold in grams is credited from iiplan MAX®
  • 4. Building value – the employee gradually builds up a personal reserve

Examples of reward levels

The following values are illustrative only. The actual amount of the benefit, its frequency and conditions are always determined by the employer.

LevelSample contributionPossible use case
Regular motivational rewardfrom 0.1 g per montha steady, recurring reward for standard performance
Reaching a performance goal0.25 – 1 gachieving a specific goal or task
Exceptional contribution1 – 5 gan outstanding result or initiative beyond regular duties
Key managerindividually setteam leadership and long-term responsibility
The company can also set the reward directly in euros – for example €25, €50 or €100. The system automatically converts the amount and credits the employee with the corresponding amount of gold.

⚠ A basic condition is that the employee has their own iiplan GOLD® account, similar to their own personal bank account. By opening it, they become a client of IBIS InGold and gain a full, personal account that they can use independently and long-term, regardless of whether they draw on the benefit.

The iiplan GOLD® account should therefore not be set up exclusively for one-off or single-purpose use within the Benefit Gold programme. If it were opened solely for this purpose, IBIS InGold reserves the right to refuse to open it. Full terms and conditions HERE.

Start with a pilot programme

You don't need to change your entire reward system at once. You can first test the Golden Motivational Benefit in a selected department, location, or with a group of your top-performing employees.

  • Define the target group and measurable criteria.
  • Set the budget and the length of the pilot period.
  • Evaluate motivation, results and feedback.
  • Adjust or expand the system based on the results.

The company motivates. The employee builds value.

For the employer

A flexible motivational tool, support for loyalty, the option of instant online crediting, and precise control over the reward amount according to internal rules.

For the employee

A reward that creates a personal reserve, builds wealth in gold, and brings a sense of recognition with lasting meaning.

Answers to the most common practical questions

The company decides on the rules of the benefit, but it's just as important that the employee knows exactly what the credited gold means for them and what they can do with it.

Does the employee need their own iiplan GOLD® account?

Yes. The benefit is credited directly to the employee's personal iiplan GOLD® account, which needs to be set up before the first gold can be credited.

Who sets up the account?

The employee sets up the account themselves, simply online. When rolling out the benefit for multiple employees at once, the company works together with IBIS InGold to make the process easier and handle it centrally.

Are there any fees for opening the account?

Opening an iiplan GOLD® account carries a fee known as the VCN (entry price premium), which in practice functions as a refundable fee. Other transactions – buying, withdrawing or transferring gold – are not subject to any further fee. Full terms and the current price list are available HERE.

What can the employee do with the credited gold?

The gold stays in their personal account, where they can leave it to appreciate over the long term, manage it at any time, or use it as they see fit – just like with any regular iiplan GOLD® account.

Can they sell it, transfer it, or withdraw it as physical gold?

Yes. The employee can sell the gold at any time, transfer it to another supported account (e.g. iiplan MAX® or iiplanRentier®), or exchange it for a specific investment bar or coin and have it shipped.

What happens when the employee leaves the company?

Nothing changes. The credited gold is the employee's permanent personal property in their iiplan GOLD® account and is not tied to their employment in any way. After leaving the company, the employee continues to manage it freely as before.

A benefit employees naturally talk about

A satisfied employee shares an exceptional experience with family, friends and colleagues. This allows the company to strengthen its reputation through trusted recommendations, not just traditional advertising.
