IBIS InGold®
Part of the story: employee

Reward the people who create the value of your company.

Benefit Gold is a way to show your best employees that their performance, customer attitude, loyalty and initiative have real value in the company – not just today, but in the future too.

A golden motivational benefit

On our homepage we showed that a company's results often start with the employee. It's the employee who shapes the customer's experience, influences the quality of work, and often decides whether the customer comes back. Benefit Gold is the specific part of the system that lets a business owner visibly reward these people.

Anyone can buy technology. Not everyone can buy the best people.

That's exactly why Benefit Gold exists – so a company can reward the people whose performance, responsibility and loyalty create its real value. Gold here is the carrier of recognition, not the goal itself.

A company doesn't just reward a person.
It rewards the behavior it wants to see again.

Extra money quickly gets lost among other expenses

A one-off financial reward feels good, but within a month an employee often no longer remembers what they spent it on. Benefit Gold brings a different idea: the reward doesn't disappear into the paycheck – it turns into an asset the employee sees and gradually builds.

  • Higher motivation – a reward tied to performance, attitude, or reaching a goal
  • Stronger loyalty – long-term value strengthens the employee's bond with the company
  • An exceptional benefit – the company stands out from competitors in the job market
  • Your own rules – the employer alone sets the amount, frequency and conditions of the benefit

What exactly does the company want to encourage

Not everyone has to receive the benefit. It's enough that everyone knows what they can earn it for.

Performance

Results that go beyond regular job duties.

Customer attitude

Willingness and care that the customer notices.

Quality of work

Precision and reliability the company can rely on.

Ideas and initiative

Solutions and suggestions that move the company forward.

Loyalty

A long-term relationship and stability that saves the company time and money.

How Benefit Gold works in practice

The whole process runs online – from setting the conditions, through evaluation, to crediting the gold directly to the employee's account.

  • 1. Setup – the company sets the conditions, target groups and size of the benefit
  • 2. Evaluation – the employee meets the set criteria or reaches the goal
  • 3. Online crediting – the exact amount of gold in grams is credited from iiplan MAX®
  • 4. Building value – the employee gradually builds their own reserve
0.000 001 g

This precision makes it possible to set the benefit flexibly, whether for small recurring contributions, performance rewards, or a one-off recognition. If the company has an iiplan MAX® account, it can credit gold grams to employees instantly online.

The tax, accounting and employment-law treatment of a specific setup needs to be adapted to current legislation and the company's internal rules.

Examples of reward levels

The following figures are illustrative only. The actual size of the benefit, its frequency and conditions are always set by the employer.

LevelSample contributionPossible use
Regular motivational rewardfrom 0.1 g monthlya stable, recurring reward for regular performance
Meeting a performance goal0.25 – 1 greaching a specific goal or task
Exceptional contribution1 – 5 gan outstanding result or initiative beyond regular duties
Key managerindividual setupleading a team and long-term responsibility
The company can also set the reward directly in euros – for example €25, €50 or €100. The system automatically converts the amount and credits the employee with the corresponding amount of gold.

⚠ The basic condition is that the employee has their own iiplan GOLD® account, similar to having a personal bank account. By opening one, they become a client of IBIS InGold and get a full-fledged personal account they can use independently and long-term, regardless of whether they draw on the benefit.

The iiplan GOLD® account should therefore not be opened exclusively for one-off or single-purpose use within the Benefit Gold project. If it were opened only for that purpose, IBIS InGold reserves the right to decline its opening. The full terms and conditions are available HERE.

A pilot model for companies with up to 100 employees

A pilot isn't rolling out the whole system. It's a test with a small group of people. You can try Benefit Gold first on a selected department, location, or group of top-performing employees.

  • You define the target group and measurable criteria.
  • You set the budget and the length of the pilot period.
  • You evaluate motivation, results and feedback.
  • Based on the results, you adjust or expand the system.

The company motivates. The employee builds value.

What the company gains

A flexible motivational tool, support for loyalty, the option of instant online crediting, and precise control over the reward amount according to internal rules.

What the employee gains

A reward that builds a personal reserve, grows wealth in gold, and brings a sense of recognition with long-term meaning.

Answers to the most common practical questions

The company decides the rules of the benefit, but it's just as important that the employee knows exactly what the credited gold means for them and what they can do with it.

Does the employee need their own iiplan GOLD® account?

Yes. The benefit is credited directly to the employee's personal iiplan GOLD® account, which needs to be opened before the first gold is credited.

Who opens the account?

Employees open the account themselves, simply online. When rolling out the benefit for multiple employees at once, the company works with IBIS InGold to make the process easier and manage it.

Are there fees for opening an account?

Opening an iiplan GOLD® account itself involves a fee known as the VCN (entry price mark-up), which in practice works as a refundable fee. Other transactions – buying, withdrawing or transferring gold – carry no further fees. Full terms and the current price list are available HERE.

What can an employee do with the credited gold?

The gold stays in their personal account, and they can leave it there to grow in value long-term, act on it at any time, or use it however they see fit – just like with any regular iiplan GOLD® account.

Can they sell, transfer, or withdraw the grams physically?

Yes. The employee can sell the gold at any time, transfer it to another supported account (e.g. iiplan MAX® or iiplan Rentier®), or exchange it for a specific investment bar or coin and have it shipped.

What happens when the employee leaves the company?

Nothing changes. The credited gold is the employee's permanent personal property in their iiplan GOLD® account and is in no way tied to the duration of their employment. The employee continues to freely manage it after leaving the company.

A benefit that employees naturally talk about

A satisfied employee shares an exceptional experience with family, friends and colleagues. This lets the company build its good name through trusted word of mouth, not just traditional advertising.
